LEADERSHIP

JIM HARAWAY

Jim Haraway was born and raised in North Alabama, graduating from Lauderdale County High School in Rogersville, AL. Following high school, he worked in purchasing for Brown Engineering for three years before transitioning into electronics distribution sales and management. Jim spent the next twenty-one years at Hallmark Electronics, working his way up from inside sales to Sr. Vice President of Sales and Operations for the Eastern area. During the final eight years of his career, he worked at Wyle as Sr. VP Eastern Sales and Operations, playing a key role in expanding Wyle’s America’s footprint from a regional to a national distributor. In 2000, he took early retirement to spend more time with his family, travel, play golf, and serve the Huntsville community.

bryan cordell

Bryan Cordell is a Cincinnati, Ohio native who graduated from Oakwood College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Music Vocal Performance in 1994. While still in college, he worked as a radio announcer at several local public radio stations (WOCG, WJAB, WLRH), beginning the work that would later become his career. After graduation, he became a public media figure in the Huntsville-Madison County area as a morning personality for WDRM 102.1-FM, a country radio station. After more than a decade in radio, he transitioned to television, working as a morning news anchor and traffic reporter for WAFF-48 News. His greatest joy and sense of accomplishment came in 2008 when he pursued his master’s degree in public administration and founded HAVEiHOPE Inc., a non-profit organization that operates a farm supporting and mentoring at-risk children from low-income communities in the Huntsville/Madison County area. Bryan is presently the Tween-Teen Prevention Director for the Seminole Boys & Girls Club, partnering with Huntsville City Schools and other community organizations to offer children hope in his city. In addition to his career, Bryan is a talented singer and songwriter who has traveled extensively singing in various groups and as a soloist. He has a passion for music and singing as praise and worship to God. In his spare time, he enjoys reading the Bible and devotionals, spending time on the farm with the animals, watching movies, cooking, eating, community service, and exploring all the creative and practical ways to lead people to Christ and build His kingdom.
